Poster mode will allow free drag of paragraphs and picture of concepts on a page. It’s moving quickly at Kneaver. We have now new features every weeks. Up to now Kneaver permitted only two layout modes: hiearchy (in HTML) with main topic, sub paragraph, bullets or mindmap (in SVG). Poster is plain HTML5 but leverage all possibilities of the css3 stylesheets to produce an attractive effect. Remind that Kneaver is always editable as opposed to blog software like wordpress or a CMS like sharepoint. You can modify topics as you read them. If you have all rights you can directly edit title and body of it. If you don’t you can always add comments visible only by you or add links to whatever concept you like. Rights can never limitate your ability to add your own taste on it and weave it into your knowledge. The new variant will be a combination of items you can’t change and your additions. As part of changes that can be done naturally you can drag and reorder items in a page. They will still follow an outline mode. Outline is straightforward. It is easy to use because it impose an order to toughts but it shouldn’t become the swiss knife of every contents. With more options you free your inspiration and reach other cogntive capacities of your readers. Internally Kneaver is an associative database and outline is just one option. With poster mode we will display each related item as a text box and you will be free to move it around anywhere in page. The page will resize to adapt to your layout. If images are attached to the related items they will be displayed as well and can be arranged as well. So you end up diggin up several level of related elements into a single poster. The interaction is very simple: point and drag. It is a web 2.0 application and don’t require page reloads or saving. It is done transparently. Toolbars attached to elements allow more editing like adding new items, adding more pictures, editing existing element, moving them out from the poster. Poster mode is html, search engine, wordpress friendly. As usual you are not creating yet another object or document, it is just a view of your existing knwoledge and elationship, just displayed differently triggering new ideas, new association. Everything is edtable and links added will be seen or accessible in each views. Even more using inline template you can call a poster with the normal print page or a mindmap inside the poster. With kneaver combining is a second nature as our brain does
